Abstract
Grass flies of the subfamily Chloropinae were studied in the Shabestar region, East Azerbaijan province- Iran, during 2013–2014. As a result, 26 species belonging to 12 genera were identified of which one genus and three species are as new records for the insect fauna of Iran: Phyladelphus Becker, 1910; Lagaroceras curtum Sabrosky, 1961; Neohaplegis glabra (Duda, 1933) and Phyladelphus thalhammeri, Becker 1910.

Abstract
The studied specimens of the family Asilidae collected from various locations of East Azerbaijan province during 2011-2014. Nine genera and thirteen species of the family Asilidae are recognized. Two species Antipalus varipes (Meigen, 1820), Engelopogon goedli (Loew, 1854) are reported as new records to the Iranian fauna.

Abstract
We studied the fauna of marsh flies (Diptera: Sciomyzidae) in northwest of Iran between 2012 and 2015. A total of eight sciomyzid species have been identified, of which Limnia unguicornis (Scopoli, 1763) is recorded for the first time from Iran. Notes on the biology and diagnostic characters ofL. unguicornisare presented.

Abstract
Based on specimens collected from East Azerbaijan province during 2009-2012, five genera and nine species of the family Scathophagidae are recognized. Eight species including: Cordilura rufipes (Meigen, 1826), Gimnomera montana Ozerov et Krivosheina, 2013, Norellisoma spinimana (Fallén, 1819), Parallelomma albipes (Fallén, 1819), Scathophaga kaszabi (Šifner, 1975), Scathophaga lutaria (Fabricius, 1794), Scathophaga stercoraria (Linnaeus, 1758), Scathophaga taeniopa (Rondani, 1867) and four genera (Cordilura Fallén, 1810, Gimnomera Rondani, 1866, Norellisoma Wahlgren, 1917, Parallelomma Becker, 1894)) are recorded from Iran for the first time. Photos and key to species of the family Scathophagidae occurring in this region are provided.

Abstract
Based on specimens collected from East and West Azerbaijan provinces during 2014–2016, fourteen species of the family Asilidaeare collected and identified. Two of them, e.g. Dysmachus transcaucasicus Richter, 1962; Saropogon megriensis Richter, 1966 are recorded from Iran for the first time. All species are listed along with their geographic distributions. Diagnostic characters as well as supplementary photos of new records are provided.

Abstract
In order to identify the species of the family Lauxaniidae, a study was conducted in Horand region located in Northern part of East Azerbaijan province, Iran, during 2011-2013. A total of six species belonging to three genera were identified, including Calliopum caucasicum (Shatalkin, 1995) and Minettia lupulina (Fabricius, 1787) newly reported from Iran. The diagnostic characters, geographical distribution and photos of the studied species are given.

Abstract
The present paper deals with the fauna of the subfamily Conopinae in northwestern Iran. Specimens were collected, using insect net, from Arasbaran forest during 2010-2013. In total, six species belonging to two genera were identified, of which the two species, Conops longiventris Kröber, 1916 and Physocephala laticincta (Brulle, 1833), are new records from Iran. The diagnostic characters and supplementary photographs of the species are provided.

Abstract
Specimens of the subfamily Milesiinae (Diptera: Syrphidae) were collected using sweeping net from Saqqez region, Kordestan province located in the northwestern Iran during 2012-2013. In total 25 species in 12 genera were identified. Of which Eumerus transcaspicus (Stackelberg, 1952) is reported for first time from Iran. Diagnostic characters besides supplementary photos of the new record are provided.

Abstract
Based on specimens collected from East Azarbaijan province during 2016–2017 as well as specimens which already had been collected during 2007–2015 and deposited at ICHMM, overall 18 species of the genus Tabanus were recognized which among them, Tabanus armenicus (Krober, 1928), Tabanus maculicornis Zettersted, 1842 and Tabanus nemoralis Meigen, 1820 are new records to the Iranian Tabanidae fauna. Diagnostic characters as well as their informative photos are given.

Abstract
The faunistic study of the family Phoridae carried out in northwestern of Iran during 2013–2017. Five species (Conicera tibialis Schmitz, 1925, Dohrniphora cornuta (Bigot, 1857), Gymnophora arcuata (Meigen, 1830), Metopina oligoneura (Mik, 1867) and Triphleba intermedia (Malloch, 1908)) are newly recorded from Iran. The genera Conicera Meigen, 1830, Dohrniphora Dahl, 1898, Gymnophora Macquart, 1835 and Triphleba Rondani, 1856 are reported for the first time from the country. Diagnostic characters of the studied species along with their photographs are provided.

Abstract
Blow flies of the subfamily Calliphorinae (Dipt.: Calliphoridae) were studied in the East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan provinces - Iran, during 2017-2018. Six species belonging to three genera were identified of which the genera Bellardia Robineau-Desvoidy, 1863; Cynomya Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830 and four species Bellardia pandia (Walker, 1849); Bellardia viarum (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830); Bellardia vulgaris (Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830) and Cynomya mortuorum (Linnaeus, 1761) are new records for the Iran insect fauna. A review of Iranian species of the subfamily Calliphorinae is provided.

Abstract
This study forms a review of the subfamily Tachininae in the northern slopes of the Alborz Mountains and northwestern Iran from 2010 to 2014. A total of 23 genera and 37 species belonging to 11 tribes of the subfamily Tachininae are reviewed. Among them, three genera and 11 species are new records to the fauna of Iran. The collected data of all species, together with their current general distribution and reported hosts are presented. Identification keys to the 23 genera and 37 species found in the studied regions are also provided.

Abstract
Among specimens collected from West Azerbaijan province- Iran, during 2011-2017, fourteen species of the genus Megaselia Rondani 1856 were identified. Twelve species (Megaselia aculeate (Schmitz, 1919), M. annulipes (Schmitz, 1921), M. brevicostalis (Wood, 1910), M. giraudii (Egger, 1862), M. hendersoni Disney, 1979, M. hirticaudata (Wood, 1910), M. meconicera (Speiser, 1925), M. minuta (Aldrich, 1892), M. pleuralis (Wood, 1909), M. plurispinulosa (Zetterstedt, 1860), M. subnudipennis (Schmitz, 1919) and M. verralli (Wood, 1910)) are being newly reported from Iran. A key to the studied species along with their geographical distributions and supplementary figures are given.

Abstract
The subfamily Pangoniinae including the species Pangonius pyritosus Loew, 1859 as well as the species Chrysops hamatuus Loew, 1858 (Chrysopsinae) are recorded for the first time for Iranian fauna. Diagnostic characters besides supplementary photos of the new records are provided.

Abstract
The fauna of the subfamily Exoristinae (Diptera, Tachinidae) was studied in northern Iran. A total of 29 species within 26 genera and 6 tribes have been collected and identified. Among them 11 genera and 15 species are newly recorded for Tachinidae fauna of Iran: Admontia blanda (Fallén, 1820), Bessa parallela (Meigen, 1824), Blepharipa pratensis (Meigen, 1824), Ceracia mucronifera Rondani, 1865, Exorista rustica (Fallen, 1810), Gonia ornata Meigen, 1826, Gonia vacua Meigen, 1826, Medina collaris (Fallén, 1820), Paratryphera barbatula (Rondani, 1859), Neophryxe vallina (Rondani, 1861), Ocytata pallipes (Fallén, 1820), Pachystylum bremii Macquart, 1848, Pales pavida (Meigen, 1824), Phorinia aurifrons Robineau-Desvoidy, 1830, Platymyia fimbriata Meigen, 1824. The collected and distribution data, diagnoses, illustrations of the new records, and host information are provided.

Abstract
Among specimens collected from some parts of East Azerbaijan and West Azerbaijan provinces, Iran, during 2017-2019, nine species of the genera Coniosternum Becker, 1894; Cordilura Fallén, 1810; Gimnomera Rondani, 1866 and Scathophaga Meigen, 1803 were identified. Three species of Gimnomera dorsata (Zetterstedt, 1838), Scathophaga inquinata (Meigen, 1826), and Scathophaga islandica (Becker, 1894), are reported as new records of the Iranian insect fauna. A key to the studied species, along with their diagnostic characters, geographical distribution, supplementary figures, and an updated checklist of the Iranian Scathophagidae, are given.

Abstract
The present paper contains a review of the tribe Eryciini (Tachinidae: Exoristinae) that occur in Iran. Twenty-six species belonging to 15 genera are reviewed. The collected data on 20 species are provided. Of these, seven genera and 16 species are newly recorded. Distribution and host information are briefly summarized. The diagnostic characters of the new records species are given. The key to the species found in Iran is also provided.
