Abstract
Israelius carthami Richards, 1952 was recorded for the first time from Iran, based on reared specimens from three Asteraceae capitulum: Cirsium congestum Fisch. & C.A.Mey., Carthamus lanatus L. and Xeranthemums quarrosum Boiss. In our rearing, a fruit fly species [Terellia nigripalpis Hendel (Diptera: Tephritidae)] was obtained on C. congestum. All host-plant associations are newly established to the science. General distribution of this parasitoid and their biological associations were discussed.

A gynander specimen belonging to the genus Dryinus Latreille, 1804 (Hymenoptera: Dryinidae) is described from Ecuador (Zamora Province). It has a female aspect, but with male genitalia, no chelae and no Antennal Dorsal Organs (ADOs). This is the first record of a gynander specimen of Dryininae.

Abstract
A new species of pincer wasp, Lonchodryinus ater sp. nov. (Hymenoptera, Dryinidae) is described from Madagascar, Toliara province, Beza Mahafaly Reserve. The new species is close to L. hovanus Olmi, 2004. However, it is different because POL is about twice as long as OL; the mesoscutum is dull, very strongly punctate and sculptured by short irregular longitudinal keels; the paramere has not a mosaic structure on the inner side (in L. hovanus, head with POL less than twice as long as OL; mesoscutum shiny, very strongly punctate, unsculptured among punctures; paramere with mosaic structure on inner side). A new key to the males of the Afrotropical Lonchodryinus is presented.
